Product Overview
This disk cutter set is used to produced round disks of metal from soft precious metals such as gold or silver up to 20 gauge thick. Other jewelry metals such as copper, brass, and nickel silver can also be cut using care and common sense. Use with a mallet or in a hydraulic press. This set is very well made using hardened tool steel having sharp edges and close tolerances. This set has a lever style separating device, that is used to quickly separate the upper section of the disk cutter from the lower section to help remove punches that become stuck in the cut metal.
